Just got one of these:

Nice little machine (A4 max) - excellent quality for £63.

Good choice, Simon. I use a predecessor and can't complain. It makes excellent photos and printing on CD is a nice goody too.

Juergen - try Canon Photo Pro PR-101 (high gloss) paper in yours. It's good stuff.

Yes, their photo paper is quite good, Simon. I printed some decent pictures using the PP-101.

I can complain about mine. I only managed to print around 50 pages out of mine before it started telling me that it didn't have a yellow cartridge fitted. Sometimes it say that it has 2 yellow cartridges fitted. I contacted Canon support and they were about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. Eventually, they told me that I would have to buy a new print head for the printer. Apparently, this is a very common problem with these printers - you have been warned.

also have a canon a Pixima ip6600d, best printer i have had in years, although just cost me £50 for new ink,
