New Morris J-type van!
The iconic 1948 Morris J-type van shape is making a comeback.
"One of Britain's most iconic commercial vehicles is returning with a distinctly 21st-century twist. Morris Commercial, a Worcestershire-based start-up firm, is resurrecting the Morris J-Type as the Morris JE – an all-electric van that is inspired by the 1948 original," https://insideevs.com/news/376484/mo...ic-van-reveal/ |
pictures not clear but from the side it reminds me of a van for the French market be it Citroen or Peugeot

I would love to see a modern version of a J Series on our roads again.
I wish those behind this all the very best and will now follow its development with great interest. I know they were Rootes Group - but I also remember with huge affection the old Commer Van. Many a 1960’s rock group started touring in those |

Our local fruit & veg shop had a J-series Morris van & at the weekend we used to go out knocking on doors selling with him with the big set of weights & scale at the back doors of the van. We got half a crown each for a Saturdays work.:D Great memories of that Morris van. I can remember the Earls court annual car shows that were shown on the TV in the 1960's and the arena was jam packed with British marques, Sad to see them all gone. |
Looks like 2021 this iconic J E Morris van will go into production  I love the retro styling
