SAIC just gets bigger and bigger.
 

It is difficult for some of us to appreciate the gigantic size of China’s car production.

Last year SAIC achieved a net profit of RMB 34.41 billion from sales of RMB 870.639 billion – making it China's No. 1 automaker.

Last year SAIC’s production totalled of 6.93 million vehicles – about 23% of China’s total production of 29 million vehicles. On a 24/7 basis SAIC's production must be almost 19,000 each day - approaching 800 per hour.

Quite staggering numbers.

I wonder how many were diesels. ;)

They have about 23% of their domestic market and now opening up in India 2019. Let's hope their models stand the test of time though, I very much doubt it.
