Looking for a pillar drill

It seems I am having to give up on buying a car lift .... for now ..... as the roof to the workshop is not high enough.
So, with some money in my pocket I am looking for a bench mounted pillar drill.
I'm thinking of this one as it is like Linda Lovelace, has a good size throat but to change speed is a bit of a faff.

Can you suggest one where chuck speed is altered via a rotating dial?

thanks

What's it going to be used for, there's one that my late brother had that his wife will sell you, I don't need it.

Nothing to big, just DIY drilling probably nothing more then a couple of inches thick if metal. What drill is it?
