The Beast of Belsen was as I remember, Josef Kramer. (in charge of it all)

Yes we should remember the Holocaust but we should also remember the tens of millions that entered the Gulags, never to return.

My sister lived near Bergen-Belsen, and it seemed appropriate to visit and try to take in what happened there.
Sobering to say the least.

The barracks close to the camp, until quite recently used by the British Army Artillery had, in a building called the Roundhouse, pictures of the German garrisons during that awful time. I assume they are still there.
I'm not certain why they would be displayed, for history purposes maybe ? :shrug:

Pity this wasn't a feature on the news :duh:
