S7 Edge wifi problem

I've it (phone) for just over a year and always had this problem too, when in the house and on wifi it's drops the connection if left after using. The signal bars at the top go down to about 1-2 and I always need to turn it (wifi that is) and back on then i get full bars for a few seconds then drops again.

It's a Tesco sim in it, i have a Sky sim and when that's in it's fine, the signal drops a bit yes but still get wifi, but I have an old HTC one and when I put the Tesco in it, it's (wifi) is fine.

I have read a few reports online ect about the 7 edge loosing signal and tried a few things but nothing's worked. A local phone shop had said to replace the wifi wire/cable inside for 60ish but said no.

It's a bludy nuisance and going back to a newer HTC.
