Prodigy frontman Keith Flint has passed away
 

Pretty shocked and saddened to hear this. Prodigy was quite a big part of growing up in the 90's. Very sad.

Legendary frontman of The Prodigy has been found dead at home.

Sad to hear. A lot of seminal tunes for us 90's ravers. I'll use some vapo rub in his honour.

Sad circumstances, Police were called due to "concern for welfare" which usually means the person hasn't been seen for a while.

Flippin 'eck.... Bit of a shock.

By coincidence, I had Fat of the Land CD blasting in the car over the weekend. Classic tracks.

“It is with deepest shock and sadness that we can confirm the death of our brother and best friend Keith Flint,” said the surviving Prodigy members Liam Howlett and Maxim Reality in a statement. “A true pioneer, innovator and legend. He will be forever missed. We thank you for respecting the privacy of all concerned at this time.”

In an Instagram post, Howlett added: “The news is true. I can’t believe I’m saying this but our brother Keith took his own life over the weekend.

What sad news, RIP.

Saw earlier one of the band members has posted that it was due to suicide over the weekend. Sadly thought this might be the case and sounds like it is. Very sad.
