Retro fit of Zenons
Just wondering Is it ok to fit these without self leveling ?

Yep, had mine 9 years without washers or levelling.

Yes its fine to fit factory xenon headlights without headlamp washers or self levelling :)

I've done it too. Light levels very much improved so a good safety upgrade. If you can get a decent pair I'd go for it.

Cheers everyone ,, now to find a pair I can get !! for the mk 1 260..

A fair few of the used ones you see on eBay will be frosted or in need of a clean. This is easy enough to do yourself. The plastic can be cut back however I found that with mine dampness has got inside the enclosure. With hindsight I'd shipped around and got a better pair. Good luck.
