Retro fit of Zenons
 
Just wondering Is it ok to fit these without self leveling ?

Yep, had mine 9 years without washers or levelling.:cool:

Yes its fine to fit factory xenon headlights without headlamp washers or self levelling :)

I've done it too. Light levels very much improved so a good safety upgrade. If you can get a decent pair I'd go for it.

A fair few of the used ones you see on eBay will be frosted or in need of a clean. This is easy enough to do yourself. The plastic can be cut back however I found that with mine dampness has got inside the enclosure. With hindsight I'd shipped around and got a better pair. Good luck.

People worry so much about sealing them totally... there is actually a breather pipe on the back to let them breathe...

When I was building the cat eye xenons years ago now...!! I used to glue a silicone gel pack into the back of the housing.... no problems...
