Received a nice eBay message earlier

Just shows some people who use eBay listen to good advice, rather than sell the guy a unnecessary part, I offered my advice and this was his reply a few days later

Just a big thanks for your advice the other day, the mechanic at work was able to weld a new flexi in today, and the car is good as new. Looks like it was bodged on top of a previous bodge. Was a pig to do, but now quiet again :) all the very best to you and your family. It’s nice to know there are some genuine people out there. Take care

That made my day another 75 kept on the road where it belongs :}

That's awesome :)

A sharp contrast to the guy I tried to talk out of buying a lower engine mount, as his issue was clearly elsewhere - didn't get a thank you, and then I was blamed when it didn't fix the issue... which I'd told him all along!

Can we swap customers? :D

I do try to send customers your way when they want new parts, but I only try to send customers who will listen to sense:} and it’s also nice to help fellow trader out from the club

Of course, and thank you :D
I've done the same with yourself on a few threads.

Do you keep quite a large inventory of general spares for the 75/ZT? I'll try and steer a few more your way.

Yes I tend to keep a good supply as I’m a fan who only has 2 ZT’s and the air ambulance Tourer, plus I have to look after my fathers 2 75 tourers and my father in laws ZT, plus a few local cars too:}

I’ve also got a T4 testbook thanks to the help and advice from Brian & BigRuss (cheers guys):}
