Help Translating TOAF Errors

Scanner my car with TOAF and came across *loads* of errors. Most are historic from the past so I cleared it last week and scanned again to see what was recurring.

Any ideas on what they actually mean?

Clear them all and rescan after going through all lights and switches...

Then rescan for only current faults to appear....

I love t4 because it tells what to do with each fault....

Atc error... Same as when you testing atc module Below radio...
I am sure that when you do the test there was no sun or you was inside garage...

LCM - old errors which as is written - not present

Rest of errors I have to check.

Check the twisted pair wiring to the headlights hasn't chaffed through on the chassis leg seam ;)

I am going to try TOAF as I haven't any easy access to a T4 (and don't want to pay anyway!! LOL)

I have downloaded the software to my old laptop and am awaiting the connection lead in the post.

I was wondering if anyone has produced a TOAF user's guide?

In particular -

1. What do the module names/abbreviations stand for?
2. How do I back-up my car's existing settings before I make any changes?
3. How do I turn off the auto locking function? (where the doors lock when driving off)
4. How do I set all the doors to open with one fob press?
5. How do I turn off the auto demist function?
6. Has anyone compiled a list of what changes to settings are possible/available?

Thanks for any help!!

It would certainly be a good idea. There's little point in having a tool if you don't really know what it does or what it tells you.

Does TOAF work with an early (pre-OBDii) diesel?

Yes, it does not use generic EOBD/OBD2 protocols but rather Rover's own implementation, hence giving same access as a T4 would.
