Long distance trip

Just back from another long driving trip, Weymouth to Ayrshire and back plus a couple of hundred miles around Scotland. The 75 really is an amazing distance driver.

Really comfortable and quiet at motorway speeds, sitting at 90mph is very smooth indeed :}

Looking forward to my next trip in December. 173k on the clock now and still going very well. Don't do a lot of miles in Guernsey so getting off the island is always nice, even nicer knowing I am taking the 75 with me :D

The Mrs was sceptical when I bought the car but now concedes it is excellent for our long holiday trips.

They really are great for the long distance trip. Ive taken mine up to the Highlands 5 times now, each time towing a teardrop trailer and never had a problem. The last trip covering 1600 miles.

I'm back up there this October for another road trip and looking forward to sitting back and enjoying the ride :D

No doubt about that, a 3 to 4 hour motorway stint is no problem, eats the miles with ease and with the double din there is a never ending choice of music to hand. Can't wait to get the 75 away again. Will be booking for December when the new ferry timetable is out on Monday :0)
