!

definately.. Rover had it right when they designed the 75.. Its a much better looking car than the S type.. and the Xtype.. and I reckon Jaguar knew it.. just a pity it went wrong at Rover afterwards..

The Rover 75/ZT was a brilliant piece of styling. Still looks great today. Easily stands up to anything else as far as looks are concerned. Biased of course.

I second that. When in Germany with my 75 was asked a few times if it was a Jag. My response, Nah, better than a Jag :xmas-smiley-008::xmas-smiley-008:

Agree completely. the S-type is a lovely idea, the car was designed and built by Ford thinking they ever could, well they couldn't as it turned out and the front grill, an absolute monstrosity put there no less to appeal to the American market no doubt, a Jaguar has to have well a Jaguar grill, at least a 300bhp straight six engine, real wood, the kind that sort of grows on well real trees, several cows worth of soft hand stitched leather that last for 20 years, not three months, needs wonderful analogue dials, oil, amps, etc etc, what the hell has happened to the luxury car market, no craftsmen any more, that is what has happened, instead expensive tasteless boxes.

I also have had comments of "Nice Jag mate" and is it a Jaguar and oddly enough considered a S Type when looking for the 75. The S Type has grown on me over the years so it's possible that one may be considered in the future.

Im not gonna libel I love the styling of the S type. Gorgeous car. :drool4:

I do like the s type although the 75 is the better looker for me. A friend had an S type R, that machine was phenomenal!

They seem to be going the same way as ours with the prices too. Plenty around for little money. I had toyed with the idea of a 2.7 diesel sport before the 75 run started a few years ago. Very nice if you get the right spec. Some of their interiors are bogging!
