Photobucket fix
Should probably post this somewhere else but feel it's too important to not get max. coverage and it's the first I've heard of it.
Stocktake posted a blurred photobucket picture of an engine removal in the technical section. Irritated and somewhat bored I google photobucket fix and this hit came up: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...bifiaedg?hl=en Opened Chrome and added the ad-on, Dave's picture is now crystal clear ! Just tried another from the how to - DMGRS How to change a solenoid - on my standard browser Safari blurred on Chrome as it should be. But when I try to save the solenoid picture it somehow reverts to blurred, but it prints 100%. Hope this helps others beat the ransom |
The Photobucket splash will still be there I guess. There's also a Photobucket fixer Firefox here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/fir...-embedded-fix/
which is fine if you browse with Firefox. There's also one for Opera I believe, just Google for it. But for everyone else --? TC |

I think it is wrong that any photo’s that were used before the company decided to put a price on using their site, are blocked from viewing unless a ransome is paid. Is this not extortion? Or am I missing something ?

Sorry Steve, I tried your pictures but there’s nothing there to work with. Dave’s image is “just” blurred out, and after a bit of playing I was able to unchain the original and now it’s possible to save the image - the saved image is 100% clear and ransom free. Mike |
What a shame that we are held to ransom by a bunch of crooks.
What are they thinking? |
