Breakfast meet. 06/10/2019
 

Another breakfast meet but we venture into deepest Cornwall for this one. Allen, Val and myself have been to this Farm Restaurant before with the Cornish MG Owners Club.

So we plan to meet at Trevaskis Farm Restaurant at 10am on Sunday 6th October. Afterwards we have been invited to afternoon tea with Ross & Anita, (Cengar on the forum), or you can go for a drive around this picturesque part of the world.


I will need to know on how many are wishing to attend by Sunday 29th September 2019. Tables need to be booked thus allowing us all to sit together.

Meet up point will be at Kernow Mill, post code PL12 5BL, 08.30 to leave by 08.45. It is roughly an hours drive from the services.

We now have 19 people attending this breakfast meet. I’ll be booking the tables this Sunday 29th, so get your names down if you want to come and meet like minded people. No need to bring the MG or the Rover if you don’t want to.

With a confirmed party this big, is it worth asking if they'll include our drinks with the breakfasts Bob ? (As the Louis Tea Rooms do).

Always nice to get some form of 'group discount' for the club... ;)

Well, they don’t for the MG club and they usually have up to 40 people attending but I’ll ask on Sunday.

No harm in talking to them......if you don't ask, you don't get ;)

As requested Bob:

Linda - Gluten free breakfast with poached egg (£6.45).
Me - Full English breakfast with scrambled eggs (£8.95).

Ross and Anita will be there in their Odyssey Blue 75, plus look out for Robert Lynex who will either be in his MG F or MGC.

Thanks to every one for a great day out,good food & excellent company. Extra thanks to Ross & Anita for tea & cakes at their caravan.

A thoroughly enjoyable time and great to give the little MG a decent run out for a change, in the (mainly) sun :D

Well done Bob for organising, Ross & Anita for their hospitality (more cake please...:duh:) and to meet Robert with the MGC - we both had a great day :}

And now we know why the police were in the car park....;)
