Ginger Baker gone, Jack Bruce gone, only Clapton left from the world's first supergroup now.

I watched the documentary about him when it was on TV a couple of weeks ago. It was aptly called "Beware of Mr Baker".
There were some real Jaw dropping moments..........including the young reporter returning to his car with blood pouring from his nose after being attacked by Ginger using his walking stick. Documentary trailer - be warned there is loud swearing in the trailer, so be careful when opening the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kppPZO9g7Js |
As th late great Frank Zappa once said "You can only shock th shockable" :-)

At the pub in the village where he lives, the locals all drink up & go home when he turns up with his guitar. Ginger Baker on the other hand was a big bloke & absolutely terrifying. I saw him play with Hawkwind, during a short phase when they called themselves Hawklords. |
