I can certainly recommend the 3M Headlight Lens Restoration kit https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3M-Headli...oAAOxyR7tTkCiz

This photo shows how bad mine were and how clean the above kit got it on my first attempt using the 3M kit.

So did I... but 6 months later, it was as if I'd never bothered :duh:

Maybe a stupid question but will these kits also improve the bog standard halogen lights on a mk1? Mine are looking distinctly grey.

Done three sets of standard lights using just wet & dry, and polishing with brasso with drill buffering attachment. Came up as new.

Bought a kit from a local retailer but junked all but the final sealant.

Used this a few weeks ago, great result with very little effort. Instructions are on the inside of labels, took me a while to find that.

Hi the Lotus boys put me in the know about a TCut headlamp restorer the first treatment can be applied by hand or machine and restores the plastic lens material. Whilst the second part of the treatment redcoats the plastic with a UV protection which keeps them from going cloudy again for quite a few years.
I have used on my wife’s and on my own about 4 years ago and they still look brand new.
