Part no: LGC000130SR (SR is service replacement I think) for a 2.0 V6 Camshaft, thank you. It’s for my car, UK address.

Cliff, from my side , its not for public discussion, the why or the how. I am too pd off by the camshaft snapping. I have to go out now.

Thank you Cliff. It’s a problem which could happen to anyone. The issue is how we deal with vital parts no longer available. I had to buy another engine, low mileage 2.0 V6 via a club guru. Has new belts, new thermostat and new pumps already changed 4000 miles ago.

In follow up and to bring closure to this thread, I have been reassured the V6 will be ready for collection on Saturday 6 July :} I am hoping to get a few more years of driving LJW.

There is that, thank you Cliff. I also considered what would I have replaced the V6 with, in case it had to be scrapped? Would I have had to hire a car for 3 months or buy a second hand Ford Mondeo/Fiesta, so I had a budget in mind I was willing to pay for repairs on the V6, the cost of the new engine, labour and a full service, has fortunately come within the budget :} :}
