3D effect

Hi Folks
Ive recently purchased a tourer in Odyssey Blue, a beautiful colour and when its just been cleaned is really quite eye catching, the thing is when you look at the car in sunlight at a certain angle you can tell that someone has used an electric polisher leaving a sort of 3D effect circles:shrug:, how can i get rid of these please or are they permant scrating of some kind.
thanks for any replies

Will this help?

Sounds like you are suffering from hologramming.

If so then you are going to have to repolish (not wax) the area/car to remove the swirls.

Do you have access to a machine polisher ? , if so then that would be the way to go with a light cut / refining polish.

HTH :)

There is a guy whom I shall be using soon who is a paint correction specialist..........his work is highly recommended by many in MG Rover circles. I put a post up a while back which can be found here if you want to read it. Hope that helps :}

If you want somebody to do it for you and dont mind travelling to Gillingham in Kent then try these people http://www.kdskeltec.co.uk/detailing.phtml

Their work is truly jaw dropping :bowdown: (read this thread from Detailing world http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=141365 ,look at the reflection shots at the end.......)

But there again you can remove these yourself with a little time and effort :D
