Winter storage

That’s the ZT-T 400 away in the Carcoon until winter is over https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a8bb1a69c9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...6672ccf179.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a2ecd971af.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...6235df6525.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...05aebe7e42.jpg

Why the metal protector? Do things rust in a Carcoon still? I use a Permabag on my Cavalier and nothing ever rusts in there, the discs and the polished engine remain as I put them in and no electricity required. To be fair, it never comes out or it would rot away lol!

It’ll be good to have a proper catch up

It’s to prevent corrosion on the alloy Dawn. The car won’t rust or get wet as the fans and airflow keep the air above the dew point. There’s also a charger incorporated and the Carcoon cycles between powering the fans with mains electricity and the battery of the car ensuring the battery is kept in good condition

One very pampered car :bowdown:.

Sadly, my Baby has to make do with a dusty car port, but on the plus side, it means I can still get to drive her over winter and play with the car cleaning stuff (when it's not too cold and wet!) :}

Nice job Les ;)

I so wish I could do this to mine... My ZT and TF sits under large tree's and gets covered in leaves and all sorts of c**p. :getmecoat:

My poor old 75 suffers too, I planned to leave it on SORN over the winter but it’s frightening how quickly it’s deteriorating so I’m putting it back on the road
