MG ZT T Dashboard cluster
Hello from Rome,
please, I would like to know if replacing the instrument pack on my MG ZT-T with a replacement taken on Ebay UK, beyond mile counting, are there other problems ? Thanks everyone Mark |
If you buy a used instrument cluster (IPK) it should be the same part number especially if you have reversing sensors. As the mileage is stored in the IPK it will report an "ERR" as it won't agree with the mileage in your other modules. The mileage in the IPK cannot be changed without a virgin chip which then needs programming.
The mileage in your LSM (Light Switch Module) can be changed, if you reprogramme your LSM with Toaf to the same mileage as the IPK the error message will then disappear. Regards |
What is the problem with your instrument pack

thanks for reply.
Actually everything works, if I have to say what doesn't satisfy, it's weak lighting and the LCD dial with the usual problems..:} Regards |
Rick Bhullar is a trader on here and is the man to speak to. He's recently upgrade my dull white ZT dials to bright white along with a replacement LCD screen for the message centre.
A massive improvement in my opinion, the only thing is it means all the other items now need upgrading too! https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...23&postcount=1 |

I presume you have the back lights turned up full on the LSM dial, left turn dial. https://i.imgur.com/iSjRIcfl.jpg1 |
