CDT slipping clutch

Hi all,got a CDT 2001 tourer with just over 65,000 miles but clutch is beginning to slip under heavy load,to be honest I have had some quite ridiculous quotes to replace,my questions are this as I really don't fancy having a go myself what's the car actually worth

What's it worth ??

Depends entirely on its condition.---

If it's a generally good and reliable car then get it done.

Better the devil you know.---:D

Never ask yourself the question what the car is worth. What it's worth on paper doesn't mean anything. If you can't buy a better car for the money that it'll take to get the job done, then getting it done is the way to go.

Wise words.
