Who bought VK54UHU ????

Sold this to someone on here..........I THINK

Around 2-3 years ago maybe.

Just had notification from DVLA that it is still in my name and untaxed, unmotd.

But I have no idea who it was........ Someone from Cambridge area from a very hazy memory.

Grey Rover 75 1.8 turbo.

Send the DVLA a letter stating you sold the car on x date and you posted the V5 the following day but you didn't take a note of the new keepers details. I've had to do that a couple of times and when I sell a car I always write to them even though I've posted the V5. Thousands of pieces of mail goes missing everyday so it ensures one if not both arrive safely lol.

I phoned them,,,,,, and that's exactly what they said to do, letter is now drawn up and ready to post

I'm glad you can now sort out the v5c online once you have sold a car, no worrying about the post, and done in a minute or two.

I had a letter from Swansea lately, looking me to pay a fine for an untaxed vehicle being used on a public road.
It was an s-type I had sold 2 year previously.😳.
Thankfully I was able to give them a copy of THEIR letter to me, acknowledging Sale of vehicle.
Always keep the paperwork.

I always keep paperwork, bills, statements, DVLA stuff, etc.

I scan all my paperwork and keep it in PDF format on my PC, with a backup to a separate hard drive

Such a good feature - details changed moments after the sale.

Hope you get it sorted out. Not been legally on the road for about 18 months.
