Really rare?
Saw a mint Rover 45 in the Moulton area of Northampton yesterday - that's rare, but in Orange Grove monogram paint! I would have expected it to have been at least an MG ZS.

45's seem to be getting rare! More so than the others? Did you get a picture? :}

Sorry - no picture. It came out of a side road, and turned away from me.
Yes, do seem to see more ZSs than 45s these days, although a friend of mine has just picked up a mint 2002 example with only 30k on the clock. Owned by the proverbial one elderly lady owner, who was 83 when she bought it and having turned 100 decided to stop driving! Serviced every year by the local ex-Rover garage, has only done 7,000 miles in the past 11 years! The tool kit still has the original plastic wrapped undisturbed. Perfect serpent alloys make it look very smart - if he falls out of love with it, I could be tempted, but it is silver like every other one! |
I’m going to guess that it’s BF52UHR which is the orange grove 45 club V6 Auto.
One car I would like to own |
talk about Rover 45s yes i do still see those and the 75, however the Rover 25 cars have fell off the cliff, never see those now, but do see Rover streetwise ones weird. They could not have made many of them but see the streetwisers
R75 is the most i see from the MGR range though by far the saloon |
