3 tonne high lift jack at screwfix
Was perusing screwfix direct's clearance sale last night and stumbled across a hilka 3 tonne high lift jack for £69.99. These vary in price it seems but generally around 125 quid. Thought it may be of interest to some people, apparently capable of lifting 4x4s.
I have no idea of the quality but imagine it to be adequate for the home user like me, so ordered one. My current jack is adequate for lifting for changing wheels, but have to use it at its limit to get the axle stands in and it cannot reach the rear jacking point lol. The reference number is 35331. I cannot get a direct link to it via my phone, but search with that number on their website should bring it up. Sent from my SM-A600FN using Tapatalk |

Looks to be decent for the money - better than what I have currently. Paul. |
Be aware:
Described on the website as a Quicklift, not a Highlift. I believe they are different. |
Jacks
I have just purchased this one to replace my very old jack, as old one was not lifting high enough to put axle stand under without having to put a block on it.
New one was delivered within 24 hrs and very happy with it https://www.sgs-engineering.com/tja2...m-trolley-jack Stu |

Worth noting "QuickLift" is for moving the Arm of the Jack into position - NOT for Lifting the Vehicle ;) I read some reviews of the Jack i currently own - with complaints "the Quicklift wouldn't lift my Car" :duh: Paul. |
I have a SGS three ton jack. It lifts the back of the car from the jacking point under the boot high enough to put the axle stands under the side. Lift is 525 cm.

I have SGS and my recommendation is avoid.
When it lowers the car, it does not do it gradually, it just drops the car! It is also a damn heavy jack. macafee2 |
