Tactical voting
 

this may seem political but please can we not get into politics!

If too many people tactical vote to prevent something or as a statement we could end up with something not wanted.

If you vote for something else because you feel the alternatives are even worse, you could end up with something not wanted.

Seems a lose lose situation.
tactical voting on player of the year, Eurovision song contest, miss world etc etc
