Brilliant bit of workmanship----However if the battery has ceased being used because the plates had hard sulphated up then it might take a small charge but would never be like a new battery.

To re-use old plates they could be given a little bit of life by cleaning the surface of every plate.----Negative plates would have a reasonably clean lead surface and the positive plate a clean lead oxide face.

Would never, however, work like a battery with new plates.---A skillful bodge.-:D:D:D
