Ooer injectors

After having a peer at some infector reading with TOAF , and from them thinking cylinder number4 might be getting tired ..

Did a leak back this afternoon .. and in under a minutes ( 57sec before getting an overflow) ..

Number 2 looking a bit flaky too .. :duh:

Thought this was the better place to post the result :duh:
After deciding it was worth a shot, I spent a nice morning in the sun Stripping & Cleaning a couple my Spare injectors .

Stripped , parts spent a while in Brake cleaner in my ultrasonic cleaner, polished odd varnishy bits .

Number 2 injector came out quite easily , did soak them all in penetrating oil before the IOW hols

popped a spare in place of the dodgy one .

And leakback looks a lot better , :D

Ran the leakback for the same 57 secs and number 2 gone from the full pot to this . result !!

Even seems to start better although was always very good .but that might be wishful thinking :duh: ;).

Been a few days is use , since I replaced that single injector and the old Bus definitely starts better, not that it was ever poor.

But now its instaneous , and the IPk is reporting a higher MPG @ 38-39 up from 33-34 just running around with generally mixed driving.

We will see how long that lasts :duh:;)..

And the Vibration under load has reduced somewhat. hopefully the new crank pulley may cure that ?, again we will see ;)
