Still here.

84th birthday Friday just gone and wife 81 the day before. Don't let the bar-stewards get you down. Chris.S.

Congratulations to you both, on your birthdays and your successful marriage, Best Wishes.

Congratulations to both, have a great day.
The bar-stewards are on a hiding to nothing with me. Sheer cussedness (in my case) is the only thing to get you past your 80th.
Celia is 80 on 1/4/20 - so that proves it. But I never said that.
I am 76 and now only 4.75 weeks from 77. If I'd known then what...well, you know the rest.

That's the fighting spirit !!
I'm 77, we wartime babes will show 'em how it's done. :D:D

Well done ladies and gents. My mum is 79 and is not hiding. All she does is take the correct precautions with cleanliness and not visit where groups are for too long.

I have said numerous times how the hell did our families cope in the 40s post war.

All this panic buying gets me going as well.

Hats off to you all. A different generation who could teach others a thing or two.

I doff my hat

80 last December, and intend getting my telegram from the king on my 100 birthday. To put it into brummy language, you ain’t get in me kid. Been up the allotment today for three hours digging over looking for twitch. Lovely day for digging and having a natter. Everyone is saying the same, they would go nuts if they stayed in all the time. Noticed on the way back from the allotment that all the pubs and restaurants are closed, and not many people on the road. Hope this weather keeps fine, I can get on with getting the silver one done and mot’d and on the road soon. Look after yourselves, and ‘ bottoms up’. I am having a little alcohol to keep this idiot away.

well done young man, 10 years behind you but on 51 years married ( to the same woman surprisingly) and not planning any sudden changes to anything just yet.

Congrats on your long marriage. We have been married 59 years December. Known my wife for 61 years, and would not want it any other way. The only way is up, or could be down. :D:D.
