Red ZT

Well I will start off, by saying car was delivered today after the £350 purchase, and the £40 delivery charge, which I think is great value for money

Garage phoned me at work today at 1230 hrs and said they could drop it off at 1300 hrs, so I very quickly booked the afternoon off work, and arrived home to find it sitting on the drive

First thing to do was to give it a wash, and found the paintwork, to be very rough, so jet washed, snow foamed, another jet wash, then proper wash, and then clayed, and it brought off a lot a dirt,

All Washed and ready for the Garage

In the garage, wheels removed, and put on axle stands

Front bumper off, and damaged wing removed

Then I noticed a bit of oil all over the engine, so took engine cover off, and noticed broken breather pipes, so removed them

And have just removed the headlights so that they can be clean properly
as they are quite dirty

More updates to follow

My New Project

It is not too bad, has twin stainless steel exhaust, Xenon headlights, auto diming mirror, electric windows all road, but not impressed with the stereo, it is a harmony and will replace it with the spare Kenwood Blue tooth one I have as a spare

Seats need to come out and they are grey alcantra, and I don't like them, and will be replacing them with a set or Red Monaco, but need to find a back seat in red Monaco.

I have started to make a list of thing I need, everytime and Do something, find that I need another part, so it is going to cost a few bob to get it to a decent standard, but have got the next six or so months to get thing sorted

stu

Next job tonight (a couple of hours or so is to polish the Headlights, not 100% sure if the are Xenon, will take a photo, and somebody can advise

I think more like six months, as a lot of work and cleaning to do, but as mentioned this is my winter project, so in no great rush, will do a little bit every night after work, better than watching the square box

Ronnie

Yes they do have a square box on the back, but does not have Xenon written on the inside. I take a photo, and post it up, after I have cleaned them, using 2500 wet and dry, and then will machine polish them

Stu

PS will seek your advice on which bulbs to fit once I find some spare cash, but initially will leave the current bulbs in

Not all Xenons had it written inside Stu,but if you've got the box on the back, then that's the ballast,so deffo Xenons ;)
