Working as cabin crew, some advice please...
So my son fancy's giving cruise ships or aeroplane cabin crew a try, he is 18, left school with some really good grades and has learnt to drive and has his own car.. The thing is I have no experience of this and don't know which direction to point him in.. Long shot but is there anyone on here who has experience in this field or maybe would know where to go to search for jobs ?. Any help or advice would be great thanks. :)

When they realised this he was politely told that he was not suitable. |
Don't know what level he might prefer but try this for a start.

Coincidentally there was a news story on our local news this evening about a college course for cabin crew! Perhaps there is similar locally? I do not know if any airlines though would be interested in having such courses, perhaps preferring to have their own training.

Get him to take a look at this. It states it requires 5 years reference check so must have been at work part time or full time for this period. Basically he needs to do a job in customer service for 5 years and have a record of his service etc.
Show him what they require and he can go about having the experience they require when he applies.:} Good luck to the lad. https://tuijobsuk.co.uk/job/72192/TU...r-2020-Bristol |
