I didn’t wash the car, nor did I look for the rear abs sensors with any enthusiasm. However, I continued my unproductive search for a 75 auto tourer.

was hoping to drop the sub frame and gearbox but so many difficulties. The gearbox in now has a problem staying in 3rd; the clutch has gone etc. Have a different gearbox + clutch kit but 1st time I have tried to work on the gearbox; there seems to be lots of salt spray corrosion on the aluminium bit. When (if?) i get it apart will so some spraying with waxoyl before it all goes togather again.

On the way to the 25th Anniversary Meeting at The British Motor Museum, I failed to plan, and missed the wonderful photo-opportunity of capturing the odometer reading of 081810 (after missing 081180 some time last week!)... AND during my return journey the equally note-worthy reading of 82000. :duh:

A couple of weeks ago I curbed a wheel on my ZT-T.
I repaired the minor damage and repainted the wheel then,
of course found that the hubcap colour no longer matched, and the
remaining 3 wheels looks a bit scruffy so I decided to repaint the lot.
I got the hubcaps done then ran into a week of cold, rainy weather so nothing got accomplished,
and now that the weather has improved I have a ferocious cough and cold
so nothing is getting done. sigh*
