Companies like this could be our savour in sourcing replacement parts when OEM sources dry up. Would be interesting to know what sort of price they want for them.

I had heard Lates mention that site were offering Manifolds but I could not find that page

Be very interesting to know their price hopefully they will offer a with and without motor price I would say if they have got it down to a slick procedure that a repaired manifold shouldn't be more than £100 inc Vat

After all what's involved?
Clean donor manifold of oil residue, remove cover remove (drill out probably using dedicated cnc jig) six faulty plastic butterfly spindles, insert and secure six remanufactured butterflys on new hopefully low wear spindles (PTFE Teflon etc), insert new control arm and heat reseal, test for correct butterfly operation job done!

Whole re manufacturing process probably around 15 minutes plus cleaning testing and packing time?

There is nothing difficult in repairing these en-mass it is doing it as a one off that is expensive in time and requires some trial and error to produce Diy part.

£255 all in inc postage back. They re manufacture the customer manifold. No club discount offered yet but I'm working on it - I just need to learn from an expert ;)

Do some digging on xpf mike, somebodies manifold was unrepairable and they wanted to charge £xxx to return it.

Does that price include reworked motors?
Really do need a discount don't we.

Thats half the price of a new one but a fair bit more than I expected especially if it does not include the motors, ideally we need to know exactly what they mean by the term re manufacture.

Did they say what turn around time is involved if the customer has to send their own in for repair?

Funnily enough I had just mailed this thread to someone who sent me a PM on the subject so if these things are available now we might soon get some feedback

So what in fact actually breaks/wears? Surely it's not beyond us to come up with a workable repair. I would be annoyed if I couldn't do it.
I never studied mine when I took it off for LPG conversion because at that time I hadn't realised that they could be a problem.
However, we have a 75 for sale at the moment that needs HG fix so I may get a look at the manifold when it comes off.
