Fixed drivers seat.

Used this company to fix an annoying tear in the drivers side leather seat. It is where your right buttock sits. Its on the base and acts like a spring. Every time I drove my right buttock sank and makes driving a pain. He commented that the material was a bit on the tin side for his liking. Sometimes its the little jobs that give the best reward:D. |
Thought I should add a photo of the finished seat. Best I could do as mist is hidden.
The 2 photos of the old long piece show where the rips were and how Rover possibly made the piece with a built in flaw. The indentations on the out side edge are markers, the guy said in the business they mark with a pen/ chalk. But as you can see the rips used these markers as there starting point. Also I have to agree when the handling it, it felt very cheap! The bloke could not figure out why it had a cloth backing? At the end of the day I suppose it's done to cost. Discovered he even fixed my seat belt. It would never travel back on its own and now it's does. 2 jobs for the price of 1 lol.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d6a808ce46.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ce1f6e879a.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...610d3a5741.jpg Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk |
