A real 5 minute job
A real 5 minute job... changing a track rod end?
cant believe it was actually so quick to do. Normally my 5 minute jobs turn out to be hours if not days or weeks. Did my very best to be careful and make sure I did not turn the nut on the steering rack. macafee2 |
Its great when this happens, it gives you a great sense of achievement.
Did you put some copper grease on the threads so it will come off as easily next time? |

I have a FBH to change and front arm bushes to change, wardrobe doors to complete, a torch to repair, garden furniture to sand and preserve, a fence to put up. Bored, I thought retirement was to be boring not so busy I don't know which way to turn:D Would you like help with your car? macafee2 |
I know what you mean about being ‘bored’. When I left work in 2002, I was asked and told that I would ,Could end up bored to death. Thanks friends. I am so bored that I have only time for taking an ex neighbour’s dog a walk for an hour in the park 5 days a week. That uses about 8 hours a week.Plenty of exercise does you good, so I am told.I have now got the silver one, but am being thwarted by the inclement weather at the moment. I am busting a gut to get on with getting it up to my spec.Boredom is a state of mind. Something so far throughout my life, I have never been, nor want to be.
