A real 5 minute job... changing a track rod end?

cant believe it was actually so quick to do. Normally my 5 minute jobs turn out to be hours if not days or weeks.

Did my very best to be careful and make sure I did not turn the nut on the steering rack.

Its great when this happens, it gives you a great sense of achievement.

Did you put some copper grease on the threads so it will come off as easily next time?

No, the track rod came off very easily. Hardest bit was laying in the right position to undo the track rod end from the locking nut

Sounds like you need another challenge mate or you will get bored

if you are thinking of undoing my nuts, forget it :D

I have a FBH to change and front arm bushes to change, wardrobe doors to complete, a torch to repair, garden furniture to sand and preserve, a fence to put up. Bored, I thought retirement was to be boring not so busy I don't know which way to turn:D
