The 4th Owners Club meet 18th March 2007
 

This is the news that some of you have been waiting for. The next Owners Club meet will be held on March 18th 2007 at the Haynes International Motor Museum http://www.haynesmotormuseum.com/home/index.html Sparkford, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 7LH.

This is being held on the dream car day at Haynes museum which will include the following.

Our own parking area outside the main entrance to the museum which is exclusive to us, the car park adjacent to ours will have Ferrari's and Lamborghini's from the museum parked up.

Entrance to the dream car day which is being held on Haynes own test track and will consist of the following. A range of cars are being brought out of the museum for the day and being driven around the circuit. It is possible to get rides in these vehicles but that is nothing to do with us so anyone interested in that you would have to speak to the museum to book. Rides range in price from £15 - £30 for eight laps of the track.

Fun for all the family


For the kids they have a themed adventure playground, activity room, soft play fun bus and activity packs. You can discover the workings of an engine with the cut away car chassis, and operate the interactive displays such as the Ghostbuster style ambulance with lights and sounds.

Experience the outdoor military vehicle collection, relax in the cinema of motoring and even get your souvenir photo taken in Michael Schumacher's F1 show car (additional charge applies).

The first meet of the year is when the members vote for 'The 75 & ZT Owners Club members prize' which was won this year by Alex. We will be handing voting slips to all members for the 2007 vote to be returned by 2pm please

Just a quick update, the numbers via the online form are very promising and it is obvious that quite a few haven't listed themselves in the list above. I will do a more detailed list later but so far we are at:

48 cars: 35x 75s + 13x ZTs (42x Saloons + 6x Tourers)

113 people: 83x adults + 29x children

Some trivia: 14% of the cars are Silver (7 out of 48) yaay! :D

& 10% are X-power grey

and what looks like two duotones ...

We have just had confirmation that Rimmer Bros will again be sponsoring the owners club meet. :lol: They have now sponsored all of the club meets apart from the very first one at Gaydon. Looks like its going to be a good show :D


The engraved winners cup for the Members Car of the Show is being bought next week.


A question for you all and we need answers.



Do you want the cup to be engraved as winners and presented to you to keep on the day or do you want us to take back the cup and get it engraved with the winners name and car reg? I will put up a poll this weekend on this forum. So don't answer now but wait for the poll so please give it some thought
