Cheap Synergy 2 Ronbox for CGTI. Now sold

This ronbox was removed from my ZT CDTI prior to it being sold last year. It has seen little use and is in mint condition and fully working order. It can be plugged straight in without any wiring mods and the new price for these today is around £150.

£40.00 plus p&p or can be collected from near Grantham, Lincs.

Hi Devilish, I should have said something earlier, I guess, but I did PM as well right after he posted. I can PM you if you like.

Sorry,
Glenn

Yes, I suspected it wouldn't be the best option. Then I thought maybe the MK2 had a more robust pump (one pump vs two?).

Really, what I was thinking was to use the box just during this trip and send you the ECU when we finished with her this summer (and take the box out for Devilish). Then on the next trip I'd put in the remapped ECU.

Cheers,
Glenn

You can still get it if you haven't got one by the fall. I just wanted to use it until I could get a remap. I suspect the remap place in Slovakia isn't doing the 75 anymore and I'm trying to avoid downtime when I am there.

Cheers,
Glenn

Brian is talking about the engine driven HP pump Glenn - the seals can leak over time due to the tuning box running the pump at higher pressures.

That shows how little I know about the diesels. I've never had one before. I thought there was only the electric pumps (ITP & UBP MK1 vs ITP MK2).

Thank you Mike,
Glenn
