Navall Star Problem

Morning All,

Suddenly my Navall Star has started playing up, front panel controls no longer work, so the only way to switch it on/off is through the ignition key. Very frustrating as if a passenger doesn't want music can't even control the volume.

All touch screen buttons seem to work.

I have tried the front panel reset and overnight battery disconnect to no avail.

Any suggestions please?

Regards

Tom.

You could try clearing the cache and/or reset to factory default. If that doesn't work re-install the firmware (Sean should be able to provide that).

If the controls still don't work you need to get in touch with the successor of Coolcat (no idea who that is but Sean does :) )

Not sure how to clear the cache or to do a factory reset, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As stated earlier I have already done a battery reset and a front panel reset.

Hi Tom,

Since a don't have a NavAll Star (just a NavAll 1 :o) I cannot give you a step by step.

You should be able to clear the cache in the apps section of the unit's settings. In those settings you should also find an entry for system where there should be an option for factory reset. Have a look at this post: https://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/s...&postcount=430
