S Type v 75

Interesting little video with a mention of the 75 in comparison.

Well, at least most have not rotted away, unlike the Jag! (and they always did look better from all angles).

I have driven both, the Rover has a more quality feel to it, however the Jag has engine options that I would love in my Rover.

The Jag is the car you would drive to the golf course for a spot of lunch, or to the post office with a sawn-off.

The Rover is the car you would drive the memsahib in for a spot of lunch.

The 3.0L V6 Ford petrol in the S type is a robust yet powerful engine, not to mention the V8 option. So I agree with the above post about engines.

Have owned various 75/ZT and a 2.7 S-Type my preference is the MG/Rover product. Both are to like but one gets under the skin, its why we are here.

Absolutely no contest.......................the Rover win’s hands down.

Find a 75/ZT or s-type in top condition and fully sorted and they're both great cars.

I've learned recently that premium brand cars are very expensive to repair and my project ZT is proving far less expensive to get up to standard.
I'll stick with the ZT.
