They didn't need one as they ate the Carrots to see in the darkness.

As Greeners had the matches. :D

Ill try and revise the listing tonight to add pics (assuming ebay decides to behave)

I'll match that offer and raise it with a bag of ....................................chips

And for the record and so as not to upset anyone who drags one here is the P/C line

Caravans are wonderful things .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ..when not being dragged down an A-road in front of me

not keen on John smiths thanks,
managed to post a pic up on the listing and put another on photobucket ready to post up at work tomorrow

Sorry, can't even think of buying it. In fact I think the listing needs reporting to ebay.

The listing claims that there is a picture of two carrots on it, when quite clearly there are three. Just because one of the carrots is smaller, don't think we won't see it. How on earth did you think you would get away with trying to mislead us like that? I almost purchased it, but I would have been really upset as all the other caravan carrot holders that I own do have two carrots on, and it wouldn't have fitted in to the collection.

:getmecoat:

black olive 18th July 2008 07:21

Apologies, the holder itself does show more carrots, Ive now uploaded a photo showing the holder holding the requisite number of averagely sized carrots (ie 2)

steerzpyke 18th July 2008 07:32

Having seen the photos of the carrot holder may I suggest that you'd have more luck selling it without the pics;)

I wonder if they make chrome or walnut carrot holders?

Hampton Caught 18th July 2008 08:36

Steve,

Excellent eBay ad. Well done! Hope you reach the £6.17 and can afford the large kebab. I trust that also covers the extortionate rabbit-damage insurance - I've heard it's hare-raising :getmecoat:

As a caravan owner, I can't say I've ever found the need for a carrot holder, but if they made a much larger model, I'd like to store the kids in one whilst I'm towing. Would make the journey much quieter ;)

And as for those of you making naughty, anti-caravan remarks.... I'll be towing around your way (very slowly) this weekend! You have been warned :p:.

Steve we could form a rolling road block to punish all these anti caravan drivers. :driving:

As for carrot holders? carrots have feelings you know, how would you like being forced into a device that is clearly designed for the purpose of torturing carrots, you should be ashamed profitting from utter cruelty.. Carrots have rights too, I will forward on this thread to the RSPCC
(Royal society for the prevention of cruelty to carrots.)

Signed Disturbed of Sheffield.

black olive 18th July 2008 13:02

you have clearly missed the point. By preventing the carrots rolling, there is less likelihood of them suffering from bruises ;)

thanks all for your comments

unfortunately the item didnt sell, but my Mum has snaffled it for use in their caravan !!!
