It can't last.
I met my wife Joan in Edinburgh in 1969. A couple of weeks after meeting we were engaged, and a few months after that we were married. Some people said that it was too quick, and it could never last.
Every year I would ask her if she thought it would last, and she always replied, "I don't know." and would laugh. We celebrated our 50th anniversary today! It's a funny old world. |

Best regards to you both, I got engaged to my wife after 3 months, married her 20 months later and will have our 24th anniversary in May. I need to start saving for our silver anniversary now.;)

Congratulations to both and best wishes. Someday I'll relate how we got together, when I stop laughing at my own naivete.

Seriously though, Joan has been my rock, and has always been able to make me laugh, even through the bad times. |
