I have arranged am to view a 75 that is being broken at the weekend for a few bits (real wood dash). The guy has offered the interior for a reasonable price although I have not seen it as yet. Says it is cream leather with grey piping with strangely a velour rear armrest? They are not electric though. If you are interested I can take some pictures and let you see (that is assuming I get to see the car myself?). Derek |
Thanks Derek... by all means take a pic if you dont mind , not sure about the velour armrest though seems its been changed at some point but if its any good beggers cant be choosers.. cheers

Hi John
I am seeing the car tomorrow morning so will try and post some photos later on for you. Guy is in Hamilton in South Lanarkshire. A few of the Scottish Members (and hopefully a few friends from over the border) have arranged a small meet within the Scottish All Rover Rally on the 24th of May. It is at Thirlestane Castle near Lauder and not too far over the border for you (I used to travel to Newcastle every 2 weeks when I looked after some property in the North East). Why not have a look at the details in the Events & Meets threads and if youy like the seats I could get them for you and exchange at the SARR? It would be good to have a few northern members at the meet so see what you think whether you want the seats or not. Regards, Derek |
I also am after said leather sandstone interior fro a saloon. Count me as second on the list.

Hi Steven,
No problem, I will post the pictures tomorow and if John does not want them you have a shout. Might be a bit of a problem getting them to you but I suppose you could always use a courier as the guys price was reasonable (well, we will see once I have viewed them?). Derek |

Car is a wedgwood blue (Cowley car) 2.5 Auto Conn SE (on ebay) and when I first enquired I was really asking about the dash and whether it had a walnut wheel. Guy quoted a good price for the interior, although it was of no interest to me, so when I saw your post I thought might as well offer. We'll see if it was worth it after tomorrow. Any thoughts on popping across the border to the mini meet at Lauder on the 24th of May? Be great if you could make it? Derek |
