SYC101000A would a cable tie do?
Clip SYC101000A holds the sensor cables to the rear upper arms.
Would a wide as possible cable tie do? macafee2 |
Yes works perfectly fine, just leave it a little loose so there is some movement, this will prevent chafing the cable on the edge of the arm.

Works ok for the one that is clipped to the flange, but not for where it fixed to the side of the spring cup ;)
I always before throwing away the old arms, chop through the flange with a hacksaw to retrieve at least one of these clips without destroying the fir tree part of things. And for the flange part, one of these......you can get smaller amounts but I bought a bag of 50 LINK Saves any change of the cable rubbing on the arm ;) Brian :D |

I thought I had some spare clips but cannot find them. There are some on ebay for £3.50 a pair with free postage. First class 76p so that's about £1.40 each. Advertised cheaper but not available it seems. 2 will do me for now Macafee2 |
would these not do the same job, you could even close them up with a cable tie on the end ?
