Front Xenon Ride Height Sensor RBW000010 HELP

Has anyone managed to track down recently the metal wishbone clip to connect the front Xenon headlight ride height linkage to the ride height sensor.

Mine has snapped and its possibly the hardest part I have ever had to find.

Sensors themselves no problem, linkage and wishbone clip no chance.

If by linkage you mean the plastic moulding with a couple of metal threaded ball joints at the ends - that's a readily available BMW part, cost about £7 from a dealership. If the 'wishbone clip' is the metal bit that fastens the plastic arm to the O/S/F lower suspension arm - they are N/A and you'll have to fabricate one. I've got an original one as a sample to try and reproduce in SS (the OEM steel just rusts away) but haven't got around to trying it yet. One of our expert OP's here has knocked one up from a bit of galvanised steel off a washing machine (I think it was a washing machine) and that apparently worked perfectly - have a search through old posts (if you have a scap arm handy, it's a perfect former to help you shape the clip)

I found some stainless steel over the door hooks for not much money and made one, upgraded it to take a stainless tie-wrap.
