The 75 and ZT Trim Code Checker - Comments thread

Superb thread Reebs! I think this deserves Sticky status.

Hi Reebs

Another fantastic reference guide for us all. Many thanks Reebs.

I will add my car in to the mix to confuse things slightly though.

I have a 75 Conn SE with the ZT Alcantara seats. My trim code is WSC but I have contrasting door cards compared to the image you show under WSC?!

I think I now understand why my gear lever and handbrake gaiters look grey against my new black/walnut gearknob??

Just a note regarding the Monaco seat covers. Some time in 2003 there was a fire in the warehouse and all stock of the flecked centre panel material was destroyed. A black material was then used instead. The colour code suffix for the Monacos then became:

CQA Red inserts
FAV Yellow inserts
HGH Green inserts
JSP Blue inserts
LFA Grey inserts

Derek that's very unusual,

There should by rights be a discrete code for your combination, which is to say the least pretty unique ;)

You have Ash Grey door cards with light smokestone fabric which complements the light smokestone centre console and main trim, yet as you say the seats are Gunsmoke Alcantara and should have Ash Grey centre fabric on the door cards.

When were the seats added?, my guess would be that the car left the factory as a standard LBB - Ash Grey / Light Smoketone interior with the Ash Grey seats, then either at the dealership or sometime after, at the customers request (was it yours from new?) the Alcantara seats were added

Nice combo though :drool4:

I think it says in the Monogram brochure that those seats could be fitted at build on the 75?

Yes that's right, but then the car should have had a different trim code to differentiate it from the standard WSC, when it left the factory. What that would be though, I have no idea

Hi Reebs.

I only bought the car last August and have not changed the seats.

The trim code on the VIN plate is WSC (see below) so I assume it was ordered that way??

Just another twist in the complicated options world of the Rover 75 I guess??:p:

There must be other cars out there with this combination? Anyone?

Derek

Thanks for that Ralph, that explains the double entries in the EPC.

I've added these suffix codes to the thread :)

There was one on autotrader a couple of weeks ago. It was Royal Blue

Very Trim Indeed

Outstanding Reebs most interesting and informative thread thought I had read about most of the variations but there are a number I didn't know existed.

For the record mines sandstone beige with a plastic dash. Just realised my old Connie had a wooden dash and my new Connie SE hasn't.I hadn't even thought about it until I read the thread even when I got the surgical spirit and hairdryer out the other day (Filthy Habit!) Anyone who has tried fitting those extra bits of plastic walnut will know what I mean.

Thanks Again Reebs and well done.

Chris
