Football chant and racisem, is it?
listening to the news s few people are up in arms about a Liverpool football chant.
Me, I see it as a compliment but few people seemed to take offence but also others of the religion see it as a compliment. Are they taking offence over nothing? the chant refers to Liverpool's star striker Mohamed (Mo) Salah Here is a link to it http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-4308...slim-too-chant macafee2 |
I find it hugely offensive. I am taking offense on behalf of Muslims, Liverpudlians, Egyptians, and everyone else. Even if they don't want me to be offended, I will fight for their right not to be offended.
It's the modern way. Everyone has the right to take offense at anything they want. I may even write something on Facebook to show how offended I am |
I thought it was quite inventive :}

Anything that bridges the gaps between all faiths is ok by me 👍

Anyone who knows anything about Liverpool knows that the city is possibly the most cosmopolitan city in the country with one of the earliest multi-racial populations in the land. And the City's long list of professional comedians is legend. How anybody could take offence at that chant must support one, several, or more, London clubs (I can attest to that). Reports like this are aplenty and are cobblers. It will undoubtedly result in an even closer racial mix. Those who claim to be offended can stay that way and suffer their own indignity, manufactured or otherwise.
