Really annoyed
Last night I agrred to by another Rover 75 with the guy over the phone. I agreed to pay his full asking price (which was quite cheap I admit). I also agreed that I would pick the car up Saturday morning.
So this morning I paid for an HPI check (all ok) also paid £34 for a train ticket. :D I sent the guy a text confirming it all and he sent a couple back confirming all was well and he would meet me at the station on Saturday.:D Then 3 hours later he sends me a text to say he has sold the car to someone else.:mad::mad: and not to bother coming. He then says if he gets another he'll let me know. I told him in no uncertain terms not to bother. What a waste of my time and my money. I'm livid!!:mad: |
that sucks when they do that !! a deal is a deal verble or writen to me and you dont go back on it .
trouble is there aint many of us left  |
Look on the bright side, the car he was going to sell you, could have turned out to be a piece of ****
|
I never go back on a deal I have made with someone. I have even brought a car I didn't really want because I had agreed to in a moment of weakness.

If your train ticket aint refundable make the journey and lob a brick through his window.
Job done.:D |

I'd be annoyed too, seems these days that people don't think or care about anyone else. |

I had exactly the same situation purchased a car from the bay paid £500 deposit via PayPal arranged to collect next day in the moring woke up to a text saying he had been offered £200 above the asing price so he wanted £200 extra for the car I said that he should have removed it from sale as I had paid a deposit an argument took place over the phone and he ended up refunding the deposit
It's definetly not right when this happens |
