A good decision?

I've always had a standard rectangular rear plate on my ZT.

Now that my paperwork is finally through for my number plate transfer, I've ordered some new plates, including a "smiley" rear plate.

I know a lot of people say it's the only way to go, but I've never been that convinced... so I did a quick photoshop to see what it would look like...

I was quite pleased with the result... have I made the right decision to "go smiley"? :D

Deffo smiley plates. Looks much neater with the recess filled with the plate.

Well, yeah. But in my opinion the colour of the car and various other things affect the overall look, and it's much easier to judge with a side-by-side comparison.

Another thing that swung it for me was seeing SC's old and new cars together with different plate types...

Smiley plates look so much more polished than standard plates.

The car looks unfinished without them IMHO.

I've got both and like both, smiley on silver and rectangle on royal blue. For some reason would not change either of them. Both look right.
