Indicators too quiet
Maybe my hearing is starting to go but I don't think so. I am finding that on a motorway at maximum legal speed I cannot hear the flashing indicator clicking noise and as a consequence sometimes leave them on after overtaking. Anyone know how I could make it louder. Different/noisier flasher unit perhaps !

You could connect up a small buzzer fed from one of the indicator bulbs feed wires.
I always found my ZTT had a quite loud clicky indicator noise so maybe worth getting yours checked. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MONACOR-ME...item3f38f1aa71 Ed:} |
You should come to live in Bradford, nobody uses indicators

Hi Chris, I too had the same problem with both my wedgwood blue 75's, I could never hear the ticking, not even on normal roads.

Mine are nice and loud.

There is a relay in the IPK which switches as the indicators flash, I do not think it actualy switches anything as this is done by the BCU?
I think it is a courtesy noise... |
When I changed the IPK on mine, the indicator noise became considerably louder, much more defined:cool:

Try gently holding the flick touch with one figure whilst changing lanes, then letting go once you have. |
I was always leaving the indicators on... must have my music too loud! I fitted a beeper unit, similar to the earlier post, it is loud though but you CANNOT miss the fact your indicator are on. Simple to wire up to the front indicators, but a pain to feed the buzzer wires through into the cabin!
