A message from Tom Hobbs
 

Tom the guy who is brilliant with car bodies and 75 sills popped me a message tonight to say thank you to everyone who has used him. Sadly, he tells me he will be out of action for a little while as his workshop was broken into and all his tools have been stolen. Sad days. :(

There are some very dishonest people in this world, hopefully he will soon be back in business.

Sorry to hear this Dawn, lets hope Tom was fully covered by insurance, we need guys like him, hope he will be back soon.

Christ, that could be expensive. Hope ploice can recover the tools and in-prison those responsible

Why is it always the good guy's that this happens to:mad: there are some truly despicable people in this world, hope he gets sorted soon

If caught there will probably not be enough evidence so the case will be dropped or if convicted a few months suspended sentence and a few days community service. :shrug:

I sell used tools .Ask Tom what he needs .If I have got anything that would help him I will let him have them F.O.C and will run them over to Ilkeston for him one evening .

Maybe we should post up a list of work heading his way when he is back up and running.

My silver connie needs doing, just waiting for a suitable couple of days to arrange.

I am gutted to read about Tom's break in, I would it was local tea leafs that did and knew what kind of Work was going on, tools may have been stolen to order or sold on boot sales or internet sites. Tom may well be covered by insurance but new tools be here "feel" the same, and worst of all it's Tom's livelihood and he's such a nice person.
I wish him all the luck to get back into business again.
