Accelerator pedal sensor query

Hi all, my Rover 75 cdt has had a stalling issue when revs hit 1000rpm. She started first time too. Now I query the accelerator pedal sensor or throttle position sensor, possible cause. I've just done a accelerator sensor reset by depressing the accelerator 5 X. However, on restarting the car no longer starts. If this is the case and I've not removed or unplugged the sensor - would this likely point as confirmation of a faulty sensor. I'm aware a replacement or unplugging would result in a T4 calibration requirement. Has anyone had this issue before. I've new cam, crank and fuel sensors. New fuel pumps and fuel filter. My injector leak back test was satisfactory and Ecu on a T4 check , sound.
Many thanks in advance.

A faulty pedal assembly shouldn't cause the car to stall. As far as I am aware they are plug and play so no T4 required. There are 2 types though, so if you need a replacement make sure you get the right one.

Strange that a T4 didn't show up anything amiss - were you running live data when it stalled?
